Stefanie Lieland

Stefanie Lieland joined the Office of Research Compliance Review (ORCR) in September 2018 as a Research Compliance Associate. Stefanie is responsible for conducting routine compliance reviews of studies involving human participants, and helps with variety of quality assurance and quality improvement projects. Stefanie has been with the University since 1997, serving in several positions related to research and clinical trials. Stefanie was a Research Associate with both the U-M Nicotine Research Laboratory and the U-M Addictions Research Center before moving to a position with the Comprehensive Cancer Center’s Clinical Trials Office where she became a Project Manager for the Multi-Site team. She was also a Project Manager and Clinical Monitor for the School of Public Health’s Statistical Analysis of Biomedical and Educational Research Unit. She holds a M.A. from the University of Notre Dame and a B.A. from Purdue University.
