Jess Peirson

As the associate director for research integrity, Peirson is responsible for day-to-day management of the University's research misconduct process, as well as for strategic planning and policy development related to research integrity. He works in close coordination with U-M's research integrity officer. Peirson is a botanist and evolutionary biologist by training. He received an M.S. in Environmental and Plant Biology from Ohio University and a Ph.D. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Michigan.
